Actually I thought todays when the VIX hit 33.5 that it was very top heavy and that we would get a bounce in equities today just like Tim. no matter, I made a little money today. I don’t know but maybe the short selling rule will give us the bounce tomorrow.

One thing to note is that the new short selling regulations may end up altering the VIX. Since the market makers have to pre-locate stock before shorting now, they’re going to have to dial up put prices and/or widen spreads to cover their risk.
